I was taught the art of rug hooking by my grandmother when I was a teenager.

I became a certified McGown teacher in 1995.  I have been going to school and teaching at Western Teachers Workshop in Oregon for ten years now.

Sharing the art of rug hooking with students the same way our ancestors did adds a great reward to my life.

Memory rugs are my favorites, it gives me a thrill to think that future generations will remember me through my rugs.
